Is your business website
mobile-friendly? If it isn’t, it should be. A lot of people use
their smartphones to access the internet and connect instantly with
their favorite businesses, websites and social networks, 24/7. In
fact, last year, over a
billion smartphones were bought.
Statistics to consider, provided by
Google’s research on The
Mobile Movement:
81% of smartphone users access the
Internet on their mobile devices.
9 out of 10 searchers have taken
action as a result of a smartphone search.

local information.
As a result of looking for local
information, 77% contacted a business and 44% made purchases.
Nearly all local information
seekers (88%) take action within a day.
79% of smartphone users use their
phone for shopping related activities and 74% of smartphone shoppers
made a purchase as a result of using a smartphone.
67% of smartphone users will do
research on their phone and make a purchase in store.

phone and purchase the product online via a computer.

phone and visit the store to check the product out, before
purchasing it on their smartphone.
9% will visit a business and then
make a purchase on their smartphone.
27% of smartphone shoppers

Shoppers spent about $300 on
purchases made via smartphone in 2010.
At this point, you’re probably
saying, “Okay, okay—I get it, but how do I get started?” The
answer is simple—with Boom360
Dynamic Websites.
While many
companies build automated mobile websites, most of them just
make a copy of your website’s layout and content, and then render
it in a smaller format. This creates far-reaching consequences in the
critical realm of search engine optimization (SEO) because basically,
you now have two locations on the Internet that depict one website: a
mobile version and a regular version. Google’s
PageRank does not encourage or incentivize this form
of web design, and your site could drop in PageRank. Furthermore, now
that your content displays in two different locations, you also may
have to update your content twice—meaning you may have just doubled
your work!
Boom360 Dynamic Websites, on the other
hand, don’t just make a copy of your website. Instead, your website
is written from the get-go to automatically show a mobile-friendly
version. In addition, your contact information will link directly
into Google Maps and Google
Places, so customers can find your business and your
phone number then becomes a clickable link so they can call and ask
questions. We’ve also prepared for the evolution of smartphone
technology by making our Dynamic Websites scalable.
A mobile version of your website will
not only help you reach a wider audience, but it will also help you
engage, retain and foster new customers. In addition, your business
will stand out in a modern way. To find out more about how to make
